If you plan to build on or near the old pool area, the space has to be backfilled with engineered fill and compacted, with a compaction report from a licensed engineer or inspection agency. Yes. We pull the pool demolition permit or help you pull it and coordinate the timing so your pool removal lines up with your ADU permitting and construction schedule.

If older structures on your property contain asbestos, we handle removal and demolition under one contract after an independent Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant completes the survey, so your ADU project stays compliant and on schedule.
